On the occasion of the ‘May of Languages’, the Lycée Louis Massignon once again welcomes the GISAD

On 8 May, a beautiful morning was dedicated to Franco-German friendship. 21 French-speaking GISAD pupils from Years 10 and 11, accompanied by their French teachers, Mrs Müller and Mr Seidel, and the headmaster, Mr Rothfritz, visited the French school. They were warmly welcomed by the German teacher, Mrs Mistrot, and Mrs Gouix, the headmistress.
Then it was off to the canteen to start this wonderful day with welcome speeches and presentations by the pupils, all accompanied by a cosy breakfast.
Later, the students organised themselves into groups and worked on educational projects on the topic of ‘Fairy tales in a modern way’.
At the end of the morning, the students were rewarded with awards for their talent. This meeting between our schools emphasises the fruitful cooperation between the LLM and the GISAD and thus strengthens the bonds of Franco-German friendship. It is also an opportunity to emphasise the importance of languages for cultural enrichment!
