At the German International School Abu Dhabi (GISAD), we offer our students a diverse and exciting full-day program. Our extracurricular activities (AGs) give children the opportunity to explore their interests, develop new skills, and have fun together with friends. Whether it’s sports, creative activities, languages, or strategic challenges – there’s something for everyone!
With the start of the new semester, we are introducing an updated AG schedule featuring both new and familiar offerings. Most AGs will continue, and we are excited to present some thrilling new activities.

ECA “Games & Sports”

Description:
In this ECA, children can run, laugh, and let off steam. Together they play a variety of movement games – sometimes with balls, sometimes in teams, indoors or outdoors. Along the way, they learn fair play and team spirit.

Description:
Students with basic knowledge deepen their Arabic skills through projects, discussions, and interactive activities. They develop a stronger feel for the language as well as a deeper cultural understanding.

Description:
In the Experiments AG, children explore exciting scientific phenomena through hands-on discovery. Colors mix in unexpected ways, gases set objects in motion, and simple materials reveal surprising properties.
ECA Gymnastics

Description:

ECA Flag Football

Description:
American Flag Football is a safe and low contact version of American Football specifically designed for children and young people. Unlike traditional football, there is no physical tackling. Instead of tackles, players remove a flag from their opponent’s waist to stop the play.
