Cyberbullying – An Engaging Lecture with Mr. Kopei from the BKA

Our ninth-grade students had a special opportunity to attend an informative lecture by Mr. Kopei from the Federal Criminal Police Office (BKA).

Mr. Kopei began by thoroughly explaining what bullying, and especially cyberbullying, entails. He explored the mechanisms behind digital violence and highlighted the serious impact that insults, public shaming, or threats online can have.

He provided concrete resources and emphasized the importance of not looking away when someone is affected. Whether as a victim or a witness – there are always ways to take action and seek support.

The students were visibly impressed by the insights into the work of the BKA. Cyberbullying is a serious issue that can affect anyone, making it all the more important to be well-informed and take an active stand against it.

A big thank you to Mr. Kopei for this valuable and eye-opening lecture!
