Celebrating Franco-German Friendship!

A wonderful exchange experience: 14 GISAD Grade 8 students visited Lycée Francais International Théodore Monod (LFITM) in Abu Dhabi with their French teachers Mrs. Hempel and Mr. Seidel for an inspiring return visit.

After a warm welcome, students enjoyed a varied program full of learning, teamwork, and fun:

Joint school tours
, Language workshops on “free time” and “home regions”
 Friendly sports competitions – badminton, basketball & football

Through bilingual dialogues, team games, and shared moments, students not only practiced their German and French but also deepened friendships – some even beyond the classroom.

A shared lunch in the school cafeteria wrapped up a day full of laughter, connection, and cultural exchange. Everyone agreed: Let’s do this again in 2025/26!
